Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She's released over 20 albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. They also are influenced by hip-hop as well as jazz and punk. Ani Difranco has been widely recognized as an icon of feminist music. In 1990, she was among the first artists to create her own independent record label. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco.
