Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. She is renowned for her movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the globe after just three releases. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
