Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best well-known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it large in the National Theatre. That same year, she recorded her first album of music, It's The right time to Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive success, and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she was offered her second notable role, when CBS hired her to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her career in between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as opposed to her perception of being the glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also becoming a highly-acclaimed director on TV shows that are popular, like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th of August in 1965 the family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent the majority of her youth there, and later her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
